TCMW: A new era has begun for many companies, with many as yet unknown factors. How do the changes currently affect your industry and your company?
The main change for communication agencies is certainly the shift to the HO environment, the organization of conference calls and online meetings instead of face-to-face meetings, all accompanied by a sense of uncertainty about what will happen next. But we are lucky to be able to provide all our services even in this complicated time in 100% quality. In addition, as the largest independent communication group in the country, we have a wide portfolio of clients, many of whom are not directly affected by the COVID pandemic, so we manage to maintain or even increase the annual agency turnover. We also perceive this period as a certain competitive advantage. We are not paralyzed by international regulations, we are still flexible and able to make quick decisions and respond to new challenges and client needs. Compared to our competitors, who apply austerity measures, we still invest in new technologies, data solutions, human resources and companies. All this allows us to ensure an individual approach to our clients and always offer a quick and effective solution, even in these completely new circumstances.

TCMW: The distance between the Czech Republic and China no longer plays such a crucial role. Institutions, hospitals, universities and many companies are switching massively to online communication. Would you be able to prepare conditions for the client before he physically moves to the Czech and European markets with projects, supplies and the like? What can your agency completely prepare?
Definitely yes. The more communication moves into the online environment, the physical distance ceases to be an obstacle. The challenge for us would certainly be the most accurate assignment and needs of the client. But we are certainly able to inquire about everything needed and prepare a tailor-made solution - from a detailed market analysis to the development of a communication plan that can find and address the relevant target group of the client. Thanks to a wide portfolio of services, we are able to prepare a tailor-made package of services even from a "distance", including website design, management of social networks, PR or media campaigns, as well as addressing suitable local partners. We have extensive experience with the implementation of orders for foreign clients and we are able to provide all services in the field of marketing and communication.

TCMW: The Czech Republic does not have to be the only or destination country. Do you have contacts and references from Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries or EU countries that may be indirectly involved in the Belt and Road project?
We have no experience with the Belt and Road project yet. However, our agency currently operates in 7 countries. We have our own branches in CZ, SK, HU and PL and partner agencies in other countries. We are also part of a global network of independent agencies, which allows us to provide services to our clients virtually worldwide.

TCMW: Where would you predict opportunities for Chinese partners and investors?
This, of course, depends on their specialization and line of business. Certainly, the spa segments and all types of alternative treatment methods are very promising for further development in many regions of the Czech Republic, but also in Slovakia, Hungary and other European countries. In all these regions, the spa has a long and strong tradition.
We perceive an ever-growing interest in professionally practiced Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Educated doctors and practitioners from Chinese universities have basically no competition here, in European countries there is no university education in this field yet. At the same time, we know that TCM methods are an excellent addition to spa treatment. Spa facilities are mostly set in beautiful landscapes in interesting regions, especially neighboring Germany and Austria, or in famous Czech towns, famous for their spa history and famous stories. They are mainly the world-famous Karlovy Vary, Mariánské Lázně, but also other lesser-known cities. In addition, an increasing number of private health clinics are being established, where, in addition to classical medicine, they also offer an alternative treatment option. It is these services that are of great interest. People are changing their approach to medicine and their own health, and interest in quality TCM services exceeds supply.
Related to this is the demand for the supply of medical devices and equipment for practices and clinics.
