The 2nd World Conference on Artificial Awareness (AC2024) was successfully held online from December 21 to 22, 2024 with the theme of "Artificial Awareness + Active Medicine".

In his speech, Jan Hovorka, President of the European Centre for Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Czech Republic, emphasized the importance of TCM and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in global medical exchanges, especially in the Czech Republic in promoting the popularization of TCM. AI will play an important role in elevating the application of traditional Chinese medicine, especially in areas such as personalized treatment, virtual assistants, predictive diagnosis, telemedicine, etc. He pointed out that AI can recommend personalized treatment plans based on patients' genes and lifestyle habits, automate daily medical tasks, optimize hospital resources, and improve patient comfort. He pointed out that AI has achieved remarkable results in health education and epidemic control in China, especially in contact tracing and health education. Academician Wang Chunhui said in his speech that the study of artificial consciousness has become the focus of global attention, involving core elements such as self-awareness, emotion, and moral judgment. He emphasized that the future of artificial intelligence will not only rely on algorithms and code, but also need to understand the nature of consciousness and implant morality and ethics in machines. In his speech, Academician Jiao Fuyong said that active medicine emphasizes prevention, early intervention, and individual differences, which is of great significance to medical practice.
